Flatland was created to support growers in our local communities hoping to pursue long-term wholesale sales success.

We exist to provide a high-volume sales channel in one place so growers can spend more time focusing on their farms and less time on buyer outreach.

We closely monitor market demand to ensure our membership size aligns with it—supporting strong, consistent sales for participating farms.

If we see a need for new members, the requirements are as follows:

• At least two seasons of wholesale cut flower experience. Experience can be selling to shops or designers. We will check with your references to ensure quality standards are met.

• Annual flower sales of at least  $5000.

• Ability to follow the weekly availability and delivery schedule of the collective. 

  • Members must be able to list their products on the Rooted Farmers platform by Friday morning a 8:00am. 

  • They must have plans in place for order transport to Omaha on Wednesdays by 7:00am.

  • Market is 8:30-10:30am, members must have a plan for your market floor product to be picked up by 11:00am. 

• Agree to sign up for Rooted Farmers, and maintain their availability on the platform. 

• EIN and Sales and Use Tax ID.

• Ability to properly bunch and label product to meet wholesale standards established by the Collective.

• Commitment to direct all Lincoln and Omaha wholesale sales through Flatland. 

• Species specialization and large volume/variety potential is a plus, but not required.
